Content stays local

Reading, writing and archiving go to the model on your device by default. Every transfer to a remote API asks for consent and is never logged.

Credentials never leave the device

Passwords and OAuth tokens live in the macOS Keychain. CloudKit sync carries only encrypted payloads — an account reference is not a usable session.

Processed on your device

The search index, cache and AI workload run on your machine. No telemetry, no ad profile, no sold data.

Your email bodies, attachments and the search index live in local SQLite. The only thing that leaves: sync you explicitly allow.
